43rd Annual Pop Hudson Memorial Christmas Sing hosted by the Union Democrat

The 43rd Pop Hudson Memorial Christmas Sing, presented by The Union Democrat, will bring festive music to downtown Sonora on Friday, Dec. 20, and community groups are invited to join in spreading holiday cheer.

This 45-minute event features city and county employees, service clubs, and nonprofit organizations leading Christmas carols in front of the historic Tuolumne County Courthouse at Courthouse Square.

The celebration kicks off at noon with a free lunch courtesy of the Tuolumne County Sportsmen’s Mut’s Bean Feed, a tradition founded in 1987 by the late Galen “Mut” Mutzner. Lunch will be served at Washington and Linoberg streets.

Afterward, attendees can stroll two blocks to Courthouse Square for an old-fashioned singalong hosted by The Union Democrat from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.
